Terms of use

Updated 1 October 2026

Folio lets you edit PDFs in your browser in exchange for credits. By creating an account you agree to these terms. Questions go to imranmohsin184@gmail.com or @mims3590 on X.

The product

Editing quality depends on the file. Embedded fonts can be reused approximately; scans and missing fonts are matched to a standard face (Helvetica, Times, or Courier). Folio does not promise a pixel-identical result, a legally invisible change, or that a digital signature on the original will survive. You are responsible for having the right to edit the document.

Credits

New accounts, and a guest desk, receive a one-time welcome balance. The guest balance is one per network: a new private window or a cleared cookie does not create another. Opening pages is charged at once. Text you retype, lines you clear, signatures, and page changes are charged together when you export. Rewrite is charged when you run it. Credits have no cash value, are not transferable, and reset only when an administrator accepts a payment claim or adjusts the balance. Unused welcome credits are not a stored-value instrument.

Paying

Paid packs are completed by you on PayPal, then confirmed by a direct message to @mims3590, then recorded as a claim inside Folio. Credits are added only when the operator accepts the claim. A rejected claim does not add credits. If PayPal shows a payment and the claim is rejected in error, contact imranmohsin184@gmail.com with the transaction reference. Where consumer law requires a refund, that refund is handled on PayPal, not as extra credits.

Acceptable use

  • Do not upload material you have no right to change.
  • Do not use Folio to forge identity documents, bank instruments, or anything intended to deceive.
  • Do not probe, scrape, or overload the service.

Accounts and admin

The admin desk is limited to imranmohsin184@gmail.com. Other accounts cannot grant credits to themselves. We may refuse or close a claim that looks fraudulent.

Liability

The service is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost documents, layout shifts, or decisions you make with an exported file. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws that apply to the operator, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
